I'm wondering (specifically non-guildwars) about some interesting clans you've run across. there's plenty of niche clans out there like pmsclan (all-female) and i was wondering if people have run across some multi-game clans that have a special philosophy or cater to a niche-gaming community.

(for instance i'd love to know who the GOON of the mentally handicapped community or deaf community is).

to be completely honest, i 1) mad-game and 2) work for a company that helps people with disabilities learn to live on their own. i would really like to know of clans that give the mentally handicapped a vent server and game to play for a positive escape to an institutionalized life.

i would also prefer (for the sake of professional boundaries) it not be a guildwars guild...i'm only posting here because i've played gw since beta weekends and have been on this forum since well before the 2006 (or whatever) join date on the left over there under my forum name.

Golden Silence is a deaf/hearing impaired guild in WoW. They are pretty large.

Guild Wars has one also, but I forget the name.
